Mall Custodian
The Holiday Inn Duluth Downtown is seeking a motivated and reliable Mall Custodian to join our team! This position plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the public areas of the Holiday Center and the hotel’s dining and event spaces, which include the Lyric Kitchen · Bar, Greenery Café, and designated Banquet spaces. Position Responsibilities
- Cleans all public areas of the Holiday Center and the hotel dining and event spaces. Duties include, but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, dusting, cleaning windows, removing trash, cleaning stairwells, cleaning public bathrooms and bathroom fixtures, and washing walls.
- Sets up and tears down display tables, risers, etc., in the Holiday Center.
- Cleans up and disposes of trash in the Holiday Center and the hotel parking ramp.
- Clean stairwells throughout the hotel and parking ramp.
- Special Deep Cleaning projects as needed.
- Light snow shoveling may be required in winter months to keep walkways clear.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Candidate Requirements:
- Ability to lift/carry/pull/push objects which may be heavy, shovel snow, etc.
- Ability to work independently and stay motivated with high quality standards.
- Ability to walk stairwell steps, climb ladders, and move furniture regularly.
- Be able to perform light equipment repairs/maintenance (e.g. vacuum cleaner repair).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50# regularly.
Shift:
- FT position available – hours based on business needs.
- Day shift
- Must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays.
