Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure safety and security.
- Utilize CCTV systems to monitor activities and report any suspicious behavior.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Assist in conflict management situations by de-escalating tensions between individuals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding security procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in security or law enforcement are preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.

Pay: $16.87 - $20.00 per hour
