What are the responsibilities and job description for the Holiday Inn Hotel Maintenance Technician position at Holiday Inn Hotel?
We are looking for an experienced maintenance Engineer/technician and or Houseman who has experiences in Hotel maintenance, renovation, painting, repairing, basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC for Hotel located in Slidell LA.
Daily Duties will include but not limited to taking out trash, fixing basic plumbing, replacing items in rooms. Maintenance Technicians may oversee the hotels grounds and address issues where necessary, Response to emergencies when necessary and completing scheduled maintenance as well, keep a schedule of routine repairs, inspection sheets and supply needs. Other duties include inspect wiring, repair pipes, troubleshoot equipment, replace light bulbs and install new equipment, Routine room inspections are done to insure that room is fully functioning and aesthetically perfect. Knowledge of replacing sheetrock is a plus.
- 2 years experience in a property maintenance, or make ready position within hospitality, apartment communities or senior living facilities
- Hands-on experience utilizing a wide variety of hand and power tools
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to our guests
- Exposure to wide-variety of repairs including drywall, plumbing, caulking, and painting
- Work with front desk, housekeeping and laundry teams closely.
