What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Service Agent position at Holiday Inn Hyannis?
Holiday Inn Hyannis is looking for Guest Service Agents. We are seeking upbeat and enthusiastic individual(s) with flexible schedules to include days, evenings and weekends. Schedules will vary on a weekly basis ~ hours could be Part Time or Full Time.
As part of this job, this individual is required to: demonstrate good computer skills: accurately handle cash and charges; stand for long periods of time: present a friendly, outgoing, energetic and guest service oriented demeanor efficient and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone.
Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and help resolve conflicts.
Duties and Responsibilities would include but not limited too:
- Handle all aspects of the Check In/ Check Out process, which can include:
Following hotel rate structures, discounts, and selling strategies
Issuing room keys
Informing guests about hotel features and amenities, as well as local attractions
Satisfying special requests whenever possible
- Respond in a timely and courteous manner to all guest questions or requests, by communicating with other departments.
- Knowledgeable the in IHG Rewards Program to ensure monthly goals for enrollments and member recognition is at and/or exceeding the brands service levels.
This position can be either Part Time or Full Time ~ Schedules will vary on a weekly basis ~
Shifts to include days, evenings and weekends.
