What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Houseperson position at Holiday Inn KCI Airport/KCI Expo Center/Atwell Suites KCI?
Overview :
The Houseperson assists with daily housekeeping procedures in all guest rooms and other public areas of Atwell Suites KCI in accordance with IHG standards to ensure areas are “Guest Ready” every day.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Clean all corridors, elevators, and other public areas of the hotel.
- Empty trash from public areas.
- Deliver any requested housekeeping items or room supplies to guest rooms; restock room supplies upon guest departure or when requested / as needed.
- Remove dirty linens and trash from guest rooms upon guest departure or when requested.
- Restock floors and public areas with linen.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms.
- Follow all company safety and security procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage to hotel property.
