Part-Time Event Set-Up Technician - KCI Expo Center

Overview:

We’re looking to hire a hard-working, part-time Event Set-Up Technician to help maintain the overall cleanliness and safety of the KCI Expo Center facility, as well as assist in the setup and servicing of events held at KCI Expo Center.

This position requires a very flexible schedule and candidates must be available to work mornings/afternoons and evenings on weekdays and weekends. The individual in this position will work a varying schedule, with a varying amount of hours per week, solely depending upon the events taking place here at the KCI Expo Center (could be anywhere from 12-15 hours per week).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility.
• Set up for meetings and events accurately and efficiently by following the details listed on the Event Order Form.
• Tear down meetings and events accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items are broken down and stored properly.
• Maintain storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, clean restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans.
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, and supply restrooms.
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees.
• Assist other departments as requested.
• Other light-duty responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
