Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Hotel Sales Associate to support the sales efforts at two adjacent hotel properties. This role is crucial in assisting the Director of Sales with business development, client engagement, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality sales, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position requires the ability to split time effectively between both properties, ensuring sales goals and client needs are met.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Relations:
- Assist the Director of Sales in identifying and securing new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and event sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through phone calls, emails, in-person visits, and site tours.
- Respond to sales inquiries and follow up with clients to secure bookings.
- Participate in sales calls, networking events, and community outreach to generate leads.
- Maintain an active pipeline of potential business for both properties.
Event Coordination & Group Sales Support:
- Work closely with clients and the hotel operations team to coordinate group bookings, ensuring seamless execution of events and stays.
- Assist with banquet and meeting space bookings, working in collaboration with the Food & Beverage and Events teams.
- Prepare and send proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documents.
Administrative & Sales Support:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, bookings, and client communications using hotel sales systems.
- Assist in preparing sales reports and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Manage promotional materials, marketing campaigns, and sales collateral for both properties.
- Handle inbound sales calls and provide knowledgeable information about hotel offerings, packages, and promotions.
Collaboration & Property Coordination:
- Split time between the two adjacent hotel properties to provide sales support as needed.
- Work closely with the hotel operations team at both locations to ensure guest satisfaction and fulfillment of sales commitments.
- Support the Director of Sales in coordinating promotional events and partnerships.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel sales, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
- Ability to multitask and manage sales responsibilities across two properties.
- Knowledge of hotel sales operations, revenue generation, and group bookings is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
- Experience with sales software (CRM, hotel booking systems) and basic administrative tasks.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for networking events.
