What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender (Full-time) position at Holiday Inn Research Park?
- PART TIME POSITIONS
- Greets gest pleasantly as they approach the bar, promotes house drinks and utilizes upsetting skills whenever possible to maximize revenues.
- Prepares beverages requested by guest or servers in accordance with standard operating procedures, establishing proper proportions and ingredients to control cost and provide a consistent product to the guest.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to maximize efficiency: sets up the bar in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitors guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to a guest should be ceased: notifies management or security of incidents involving excessive alcohol.
- Verifies liquor inventory , correctly completes all requisition requirements and stores stock in accordance with proper procedures.
- Obtains, counts and secures bartender's bank: distributes and collects bar servers banks: documents cash distribution in register drawer.
- Establishes method of customer payment; permits guest to run tabs with proper credentials; completes guests payment transactions on cash register as outlined in cash and charge procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by any manager.
