Position: Banquet Supervisor

OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Banquet Supervisor.

What will you be doing most days?

• Oversee catered functions and ensure flawless execution of events.
• Responsible for the overall sanitation and cleanliness of work areas, banquet rooms, and storage areas.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer needs are met promptly and efficiently.
• Deliver unique and creative ideas to enhance meetings and group experiences.
• Guide the banquet team in the setup of tables, place settings, and other event needs.
• Be familiar with all current and upcoming events, including their specific details.
• Resolve staff and customer concerns quickly and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate effectively with the kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments.
• Support the scheduling of banquet staff and prepare weekly duty charts to correspond with banquet functions.
• Manage labor resources to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with the organization and transportation of food and equipment for offsite catering events.
• Ensure sufficient operating supplies, beverage stocks, and equipment for assigned functions.
• Oversee banquet inventory, complete detailed reports, manage billing, and facilitate training programs for the banquet team.
• Provide excellent guest service and support hotel-wide operational goals.

Physical Requirements for this Position

This is a physically demanding role. You must be comfortable with:

• Standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.
