Housekeeper

Job Overview:

As a Housekeeper at an IHG-branded hotel, you play a vital role in delivering the clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment our guests expect. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas while maintaining IHG’s brand standards, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with IHG brand and cleanliness standards.
• Replace linens, towels, and amenities in guest rooms following proper procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Ensure all equipment and carts are well-stocked, clean, and maintained.
• Handle guests' belongings with care and report any lost and found items.
• Follow all hotel security and safety procedures, including key control and lost property policies.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and respond to any requests promptly.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and hotel team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required—on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Basic ability to read and understand guest requests, safety procedures, and cleaning instructions.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
