Server/Waiter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and professional Restaurant Server to join Philly's Bar and Grill food & beverage team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, provides exceptional guest service, and has experience working with POS systems—specifically Klover POS. You will be responsible for taking and serving food and beverage orders, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining cleanliness and flow of the restaurant space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a warm, friendly manner and present menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Klover POS system.
• Deliver orders promptly and check in to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables and polishing utensils/glassware.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items when appropriate.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hotel policy guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing side work duties, including inventory and restocking.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth restaurant operation.

Qualifications:

• Prior server or restaurant experience preferred (hotel experience a plus).
• Familiarity with Klover POS system strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have any required food handler certifications per local/state law.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and carry trays with food and beverages.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
