What are the responsibilities and job description for the AM Restaurant Server position at Holiday Inn & Suites - Albuquerque North?
Holiday Inn & Suites is looking for friendly servers for our restaurant. We serve breakfast & dinner daily. Positions are part time mornings and must include availability on weekends and holidays. There are 2 positions available. For one, the schedule is typically Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday , Friday and Saturday at 5:30 am to about noon. The other is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 5:30 am to about noon. We're looking to interview and hire immediately!
Summary/ Objectives: To ensure each guest of the most pleasant and enjoyable dining experience by offering the best possible service.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain good personal appearance at all times; wear proper uniform and name tag as prescribed by hotel
- Verify the accuracy on all checks for prices, taxes, and tips
- Greet all arriving guests at the door and seat them in a pleasant manner, making them feel welcome
- Ensure that all newly seated guests receive immediate attention and that their orders are taken promptly and courteously. Be sure that your guests are not being neglected at any time.
- Keep your station clean and set up with the required supplies at all times.
- Work with the other service personnel to see that the side work and other job related duties are completed.
- Check the cleaning frequency chart and do the required cleaning each day.
- Make sure that tables are cleaned properly and set up according to established hotel standards.
- Be sure that established service procedures are followed at all times. Upon presentation of the guest check, thank the guest, and ask him or her to come back again.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
