Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring a pristine and inviting environment.
• Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, making sure all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
• Change linens and make beds according to established standards for a consistent guest experience.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure rooms and areas are always fully equipped.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for timely resolution.
• Follow all established cleaning and sanitizing procedures to maintain health and safety standards.
• Assist with special cleaning projects, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods during the shift.
• Capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (e.g., linens, cleaning equipment) up to [insert weight limit].
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, including bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
• Possess the stamina and physical strength to carry out daily cleaning duties effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A background in hospitality, particularly customer service, is preferred.
• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Proficiency in floor care techniques, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness in hotel or similar environments.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring top-quality results.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
