Food and Beverage Staff

Holiday Inn & Suites Kalamazoo West is hiring for Food and Beverage Staff in our Toast to Toast Restaurant. This position would entail covering Restaurant Servers, Cook, and working in our Banquet Center. The hotel is operated by Amerilodge Group, a rapidly growing hospitality company with hotels throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. Food and Beverage Staff

Truly memorable restaurant experiences do not just come from delicious dishes, fine dining and exquisite ambiance. Which is why we’re searching for a new Food & Beverage Associate. You will delivering unforgettable experiences, from providing

our guests their favourite drink, seamless service from starter to dessert or providing the perfect mix serving drinks to our guests’ unique tastes

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you will mostly be:

• Striving to make every meal truly memorable for our guests by serving up high standards with our signature flare
• Preparing and serving a wide variety of hot, cold, artisan and specialty beverages
• Owning your bar – managing stock, inventory and equipment as well as keeping the space cleaner than clean
• Working closely with your restaurant colleagues to deliver a truly seamless food service
• Helping set exceptional cleanliness standards across all work areas and equipment

What we need from you

• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs which can also involve bending and kneeling
• A good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths
• The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol – you’ll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
• Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to
