Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a high level of hospitality, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and manage transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
- Assist in catering events or banquets as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred; knowledge of mixology is a plus.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial.
- Experience in nightclub or retail settings is an advantage but not required.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to local regulations.
