Hotel General Manager
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused General Manager to oversee our hotel operations. Our ideal General Manager candidate must possess knowledge of hotel operations, a positive attitude, the proven skills to oversee all operations activities and departments in the hotel in order to maximize revenue, deliver a positive guest experience and create a team atmosphere that promotes learning and excellence.
Job Requirements include:
- Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure
- Oversees hotel operations
- Ensures overall guest satisfaction to drive brand metrics
- Ensures compliance with brand standards
- Maintaining statistical and financial records
- Setting and achieving sales and profit targets
- Recruiting, training, and monitoring staff
- Planning work schedules for individuals and teams
- Meeting and greeting guests
- Addressing opportunities and troubleshooting
- Carrying out inspections of property and services
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
- Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Hospitality Management or a related field or equivalent education/experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 1- 2 years of hotel General Manager experience preferred with IHG brand
