The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are laundered, cleaned, and presented to the highest standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel’s laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. *Responsibilities* - Launder and clean hotel linens, towels, and guest garments using appropriate washing techniques and equipment. - Operate washing machines, dryers, and dry cleaning machines safely and efficiently. - Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal cleaning results. - Inspect items for stains or damages before processing and report any issues to management. - Fold, hang, or package clean items as per hotel standards for easy distribution. - Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by following proper sanitation practices. - Adhere to safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery. - Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report low stock levels. *Requirements* - Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel environment is preferred but not required. - Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes. - Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. - Must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
