What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Holiday Inn?
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and building systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine the best course of action for repairs
- Fabricate and install parts as needed
- Utilize our communication system (Quore) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments in a timely manner
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to our guests
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
