Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic temporary Bartender to join our dynamic team from February 27th, 2025, through March 23rd 2025. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and collaborating with other staff to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist in catering events or special functions as required.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere in restaurants or nightclubs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
