Position overview:
Are you a friendly and energetic individual seeking growth opportunities while joining a fast-paced team? We're seeking a store sales associate who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner
- Accurately process transactions using the cash register and handle payments
- Stock shelves and coolers with merchandise
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, including the sales floor, restrooms, and fuel pumps
- Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers as needed
- Follow safety and security procedures, including age verification for restricted products
- Handle customer inquires and resolve complaints professionally
Skills & Requirements:
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, including cash registers and other POS systems.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using computers.
- Effective communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Ability to collaborate with the team to manage workload and pace effectively.
- Willingness to learn about store processes, products, and services.
- Ability to remain composed in confrontational situations.
- Capability to work in a high-volume, sometimes high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes Sunday through Saturday. Availability to open and close the store as needed.
- Must be able to work in cold environments, such as outdoor cold weather and indoor coolers.
- Must also be able to work in heat during the summer months to perform outdoor duties.
Salary : $15 - $17
