Job Description - Treasury Analyst:
The Treasury Analyst will play an integral role in managing the day-to-day financial health and cash management of all Holiday entities. The Treasury Analyst position is an essential role that upholds our commitment to excellence and efficient financial management and stewardship of our resources.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cash Management:
• Collaborate with Holiday teams to develop effective investment strategies and risk management practices.
• Monitor daily cash position and forecast short-term cash requirements.
• Manage cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
• Manage critical daily cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize cash management services.
2. Risk Management:
• Identify and analyze financial risks related to interest rates, and liquidity.
• Assist in managing and monitoring debt facilities, including the administration of borrowing agreements.
• Assist in the management of entity insurance activity
3. Investment and Funding:
• Assist in managing the company's short-term and long-term investments.
• Recommend investment strategies that align with the company's financial goals and risk tolerance.
• Support treasury team in raising funds, whether through debt, equity, or other financing methods.
4. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare and review treasury reports, including cash forecasts, liquidity analysis, and funding requirements.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual treasury reports for senior management.
5. Compliance and Controls:
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in compliance activity with State and other municipal entities
• Assist in maintaining internal control procedures for cash management and treasury operations.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting roles, with exposure to cash management, banking relationships. financial analysis, and risk management.
• Understanding of financial instruments, financial risk management, and banking systems.
• Must have a strong understanding of standard financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, to effectively analyze and manage the company's liquidity and cash position.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) a must
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of complex data.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
• Based on-site in our corporate office in Draper, Utah.
Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
