What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN- Charge Nurse position at Holiday Resorts?
Holiday Resort is currently seeking to add an RN to our team!
Our Community: Emporia, KS is a small town with great personality and home to a worldwide gravel bike ride, is the disc golf destination and the founding city of Veteran’s Day. Emporia offers a great downtown with events happening all year round and is home to a University and a Technical school offering multiple degrees and experiences. Emporia is a great place to raise a family and be in the center of it all with a small-town vibe but close to the big city life as well.
Our Facility: Holiday Resort has been a Long Term Care facility since 1988.
We provide services to a wide variety of residents for both short and long term care. This variety allows our nurses to experience a wide range of medical complexity.
Charge nurse is responsible for assessing residents, charting in our electronic system, giving insulin to residents as needed, communicating with resident's families and doctor's as needed.
Charge nurses work 8 or 12 hour shifts with the availability to self schedule. Weekends and Holiday's are assigned with a rotating schedule.
We are looking to add nurses working with 8 hour shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) or 12 hour shifts 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am to our team.
