Job Description:
- This is a full-time day shift position that requires occasional evening shifts.
As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager with overseeing daily operations, including hiring, supervising, and working with staff to achieve sales and customer service goals. You will also be involved in maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, merchandise presentation, and cash handling procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and decision-making
- Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
- Ensure accurate cash handling and reconcile transactions
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of retail management experience; prior supervisory experience a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
