Job Overview:
Holiday Station Stores - Workday is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining store appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ringing up all sales on cash register properly and accurately, handling money, checks, and other types of payment received
- Performing multi-function operations of fuel consoles, lottery machines, money order machines, telecom transactions, etc.
- Cleaning of all equipment at the store
- Inspecting store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order
- Completing build-to's for ordering/purchasing merchandise
- Controlling merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses
- Assisting in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits
- Assisting new applicants with application processes
- Performing all duties with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Able to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
- Able to perform the four (4) basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
- Exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer
- Able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday
- Able to bend at waist with some twisting up to one hour of workday
