What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Picker position at Holiday Wholesale?
Job Summary:
As a Night Warehouse Line Picker, you'll pick product orders using a voice-operated headset and make sure they are packed and ready to ship without any errors or damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders using a voice headset in a temperature-controlled warehouse.
- Walk and search for products throughout the warehouse.
- Place correct shipping labels on products and move orders to the shipping area.
- Bend and stretch to reach products for orders.
- Handle fragile items carefully and pack them securely.
- Keep your work area clean and clear of obstacles.
- Sort products by destination for shipping.
- Work well with your team to meet goals.
- Follow safety procedures while working near moving equipment like forklifts.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift items for most of your shift.
- Able to lift up to 45 pounds.
Work Hours:
- Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM or until all work is completed.
Work all scheduled shifts for an additional $1.00/hour attendence bonus!
