What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Mover position at HOLIDAY WHOLESALE?
PURPOSE/FUNCTION (JOB SUMMARY):
Holiday Wholesale is looking for a truck mover. The job entails moving straight trucks (no semis) between the loading dock and storage lot. Other responsibilities include night warehouse operations, picking products and loading trucks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Reads sales orders to determine which products will be selected to fill the order for next day shipment.
· Bends down and stretches above head to retrieve products to fill sales orders for next day shipment.
· Uses manual dexterity and fine motor skills to retrieve some products for shipment that are much more fragile than others, and packs them accordingly after being picked.
. Move the trucks between the loading dock area and the storage lot.
· Any other associated function required to complete the tasks assigned by the Manager.
Work Hours:
Monday – Thursday 4:00pm – 2:30am or until work is completed.
Full Time or Part time considered
Must be able to speak and read english.
Must have a driver's license.
Work all scheduled shifts to receive an additional $1.00/hour attendance bonus!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
