Job Description:
Holistic Behavioral Health LLC is seeking a passionate, skilled, and compassionate Beginners Somatic Yoga Instructor to join our team. As an instructor at our wellness-focused company, you will play an essential role in guiding individuals toward better mental and physical health through the practice of Somatic Yoga. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and mindful environment for our clients, especially those new to the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Beginners Somatic Yoga: Lead engaging and accessible Somatic Yoga classes for beginners, ensuring that each participant feels supported and empowered in their practice.
- Class Scheduling 7:00 am to 10am weeks days. Availability to teach on Fridays and/or Saturdays is required.
- Multi-Class Teaching: Be open to teaching multiple classes per week, adapting class content and approach to meet the needs of various participants, primarily adults.
- Parent-Child Classes: Lead one parent-child Somatic Yoga class per week or one per month, catering to both children and their parents in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.
- Client Relationship Building: Bring your established clients with you to our practice to maintain and continue those relationships within our community. You’ll have the opportunity to keep and grow your client base while supporting new clients as they begin their Somatic Yoga journey.
- Create a Safe, Supportive Space: Ensure a welcoming, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment for all students, especially beginners. Provide clear guidance on movement, breathwork, and mindfulness practices.
- Ongoing Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest Somatic Yoga techniques and practices, ensuring that your teaching remains fresh, relevant, and beneficial to your students.
Qualifications:
- Certified Somatic Yoga Instructor: Must have completed an accredited Somatic Yoga Teacher Training program.
- Experience Teaching Beginners: Prior experience teaching beginner-level yoga classes is highly preferred, especially for those new to Somatic Yoga, and open to teaching a parent child yoga class.
- Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for teaching yoga and helping individuals improve their physical and mental health. Experience working with diverse populations, especially adults and children, is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to provide clear, concise instructions and create a supportive and engaging learning environment for students of all levels.
- Flexible and Reliable: Ability to commit to early morning classes and flexible hours, with a willingness to teach on Fridays and/or Saturdays.
- Client-Focused: Must be comfortable with the option of bringing existing clients to the company while maintaining strong relationships with them.
Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $27 to $31 per hour for class instruction. (Based on Instructor Work Experience)
