What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinarian position at Holistic Veterinary Healing?
Holistic Veterinary Healing (HVH) in Germantown, MD is in search of a full or part time veterinarian to join our growing practice. We are one of the first integrative practices to achieve American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) certification and many of our staff members are also Fear Free certified. HVH treats companion animals (dogs and cats, and we are team-oriented to provide compassionate care for our patients and clients. The veterinarian we are seeking is licensed in Maryland and is either certified or willing to get certified in veterinary acupuncture and other alternative therapy modalities (i.e. homeopathy, ozone therapy, chiropractic care, herbal medicine, energy work, etc.).
HVH offers full service integrative care where we view each patient as a whole and focus on the root cause of disease for projected long-term healing. This includes dental and surgical care, chiropractic, acupuncture, nutraceuticals, Chinese and Western herbs, and homeopathic medicine. The clinic owner has over 39 years of holistic experience and is looking forward to sharing cases with an associate.
We are equipped to perform full dental work utilizing our panoramic dental x-ray machine and dental equipment. We have a full surgical suite and in-house lab as well as digital radiology. We offer multiple types of ozone therapy, food therapy, chiropractic adjustments, and laser therapy.
HVH refers after-hour emergencies to local and highly respected emergency hospitals.
