Job Description
The Specialist, Contract Administration will work among a contract team responsible for portions of the contract lifecycle for agreements negotiated exclusively by Carnival Corporation's North America Supply Chain team. This includes drafting, evaluating, and executing contracts, managing database and issuing reports. The Specialist will ensure all contracts adhere to business requirements, legal policies, and workflows. As required, they will collaborate externally with Vendors and internally with various departments to obtain required feedback and approvals, and promptly escalate any issues.
Essential Functions :
- Contract Lifecycle Management : Overseeing sections of the contract lifecycle, from initiation to renewal or termination, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This includes drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing and manage reporting through termination.
- Contract Management : Utilize Carnival's Contract Management System (CMS) to route contract documents for approval and signature; ensure all relevant supporting documentation is uploaded into CMS; build and manage reporting that alerts sourcing managers on renewals and termination dates.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Working closely with external suppliers and internal stakeholders such as legal, compliance, tax, risk, data privacy, and supply chain managers, to ensure contract terms align with business objectives and compliance requirements
- Reporting and Analysis : Provide accurate reporting of the status of contracts and other ad-hoc reporting required by Supply chain team to support strategic plans associated with spend categories (IT, Marketing, Entertainment, HR, etc.)

Physical Demands : Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and / or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel : None or very little travel likely.
Work Conditions : Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential.
This position is classified as "in-office." As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami / Ft. Lauderdale area.
