We’re looking for an amazing Lead, Technical to fill this role. You’ll be responsible for inputting and executing on the technical designs for various IT shipboard solutions at the brand, group and/or enterprise level. Works directly with IT management and business stakeholders to design and implement technical solutions, review application capabilities, as well as improve business processes. This position is also involved in the tactical execution of system enhancements and support in addition to assisting and reviewing the work of the systems analyst and programming staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform application configuration changes, releases, upgrades, and implementations.
• Assists with application support and analysis for production systems.
• Create efficiencies between common systems and interfacing applications.
• Participates in design reviews and provides suggestions to improve usability, adoption and customer value for guest experience applications.
• Utilizes scrum methodology to refine backlog by working with IT product managers and team members; facilitate release planning; assist with dependency management and cross team coordination.
• Create and update technical documentation including training and reference material.
• Consult and collaborate with IT product managers to provide technical requirements.
• Effectively communicate and manage changes and expectations to project scope and schedule to the product management team; Remain flexible to changing priorities.
• Review technical processes and make recommendations for better use of the system capabilities.
• Stay apprised of developments in technology, the hospitality industry and its suppliers and competitors’ capabilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience with launching customer-facing products or services in an Agile environment
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technical lead or analyst working on software development projects as well as experience delivering business systems solutions in an enterprise IT environment.
• Experience in leveraging JIRA, Confluence or other tools to for workload management
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices including continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
• Knowledge of industry best practices for systems implementation, testing, and risk management
• Effectively collaborate and work with multiple disparate groups with across multiple projects and initiatives
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and verbal/written skills

This position follows the Company’s schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) with flexibility to work remotely the remainder of the week.

• Base Salary Range: $86,500 to $116,800. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
