What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Tennis Instructor position at Holland, City of (MI)?
Under the direction of the Tennis Program Supervisor, this position will instruct, test, and evaluate youth and adults in beginning through excellence group levels. This position will be required to maintain a good standard of discipline with students in a climate of good, safe recreational activity.
1. Teach, test, and evaluate the fundamentals of tennis and sportsmanship to participants.
2. Maintain a good standard of discipline with the students in a climate of good recreational activity.
3. Assist the program supervisor as required.
4. Maintain a safe environment for participants.
5. Enforce rules and regulations as outlined by the supervisor.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
1. Knowledge of the sport of tennis.
2. The ability to lead a group of kids or adults.
3. Ability to pass a background check.
4. Physical ability to occasionally lift/push/pull/transport equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
