MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND :
- A high school graduate or GED REQUIRED LICENSING :
- Must have up to date CLEET armed security license.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to meet facility insurance requirements. PREVIOUS RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in law enforcement / security required EXPECTATIONS / REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with various school and volunteer organizations in a collaborative and friendly manner
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet facility insurance requirements
- Articulate information in an emergency situation
- Visual acuity necessary to observe and comprehend movement of individuals
- Regular attendance is required for successful completion of job duties WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to work standing / bending for several hours at a time
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds when necessary
- Good close, distance, and color vision and depth perception
- Duties may be performed outdoors in all weather conditions

THIS POSITION This position is an evening (2 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m.), hourly position responsible for the performance of routine safety and security functions, building, personnel safety, and event support. Provides courteous and considerate assistance to all students, staff and visitors. Responds to vehicle accidents, criminal behavior, fire or other emergencies and writes reports as needed.
