We are a community-based program for adults 55 years or older that promotes healthy independent living and helps prevent nursing home placement. Our program is all-inclusive concierge care led by skilled primary care providers and an interdisciplinary team with 11 specialties represented. Care Resources embraces physical, mental, and social health, making healthcare accessible and affordable.

What Will You Do?
As the full-time Staff Accountant, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer for Care Resources. Duties include:
- Maintain the general ledger system as assigned; perform GL account analysis and review, generate various monthly and year-end financial statements
- Maintain fixed asset records and related depreciation schedules; update records for additions, disposals, and/or transfers of property and equipment
- Monitor cash balances and reconcile bank statements; conduct research necessary to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure invoices are correctly approved and coded for accounts payable
- Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, vendors, professional service entities, and government agencies in the exchange of information
- Analytical ability and mathematical aptitude necessary to perform accounting functions of moderate difficulty and conduct research necessary to resolve discrepancies in accounting records
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and be flexible in a fast-paced and growing organization
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Requires completion of bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience through related accounting experience and working knowledge
- Prior experience in accounting for a healthcare organization is highly valued
