Summer Grounds - Seasonal Position

Holland Home - Raybrook Campus and Breton Woods Campus

Our Grounds and Landscaping team is looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented individual to assist our team with routine exterior maintenance around our campuses for the Summer. This position is great for anyone who is looking for a full-time, weekday summer job!

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform routine exterior maintenance to residences and other buildings throughout Holland Home
• Assume responsibility for the exterior maintenance of all landscaping on the Holland Home campuses, including lawn mowing, weeding, spreading bark, etc.
• Perform daily rounds, perform exterior maintenance on a written work request system, complete preventive maintenance requests and identify and repair deficiencies.
• Assist with outdoor set-ups as needed.
• Monitor pesticide applications and pond treatments.
• Provide a safe environment for residents and staff, assuring entryways and walkways are free of debris.
  
  

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Start Date: As early as May 1st
• Summer only
  
  

PAY: $15.74/hour

Job Qualifications

• The job requires knowledge normally acquired through a general high school diploma or equivalent.
• Cement and heavy equipment experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Reliable means of transportation.
