The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to create and refine architectural drawings that support residential construction projects. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate design execution while maintaining compliance with industry standards and building codes.
The Architectural Drafter will collaborate closely with architects and construction teams to develop and adjust design plans, prepare project documentation, and ensure all drawings are precise and up to date. This position requires proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail to support various phases of the design and construction process.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Architectural Drafting
- Create detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.
2. Collaboration
- Work with architects and construction teams to develop and refine design plans.
3. Code Compliance
- Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and building codes.
4. Project Documentation
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and presentations.
5. Plan Revisions
- Review and revise plans based on feedback from clients and team members.
6. Document Management
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documents.
7. Project Support
- Support the team in various phases of the design and construction process.

Beyond your technical expertise, you bring:
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and design.
- Architectural Knowledge: Solid understanding of architectural design principles and best practices.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in architectural drafting or a related field.
- Residential Construction Experience: Experience working on residential homebuilding projects.
- Building Code Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Additional Software Skills: Familiarity with other design tools such as SketchUp, Rhino, or similar software.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent focus on accuracy and precision in drafting and documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, coordinating with architects and engineers.
- Fast-Paced Environment Experience: Previous experience working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced setting.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear project coordination.
- Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
