General Description :
The Financial Analyst is responsible for contributing to the financial operations of the firm. This role will support the firm's financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities, ensuring effective financial management and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions :
- Financial Reporting and Analysis : Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights to management.
- Take independent ownership of financial models and reporting.
- Develop and modify reports, working with senior team members to incorporate improvements and refinements in templates and processes.
- Reconciliations & Accuracy : Assist with the reconciliation of financial data and ensure consistency and accuracy across the dashboard and other reporting tools.
- Reporting Documentation : Develop clear, insightful, and well-organized reporting documentation to ensure transparency and understanding of financial data across all stakeholders.
- Compliance & Internal Controls : Assist in ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Ad-hoc support : Assist Finance / Accounting management with special projects. Assist with annual issues, as necessary.
