General Description :
The Regional Marketing Senior Manager oversees a team of high performing regional marketing managers who are responsible for managing the local and regional marketing and business development efforts for the firm’s 2,200 lawyers. The ideal candidate would collaborate with the firm’s Director of Events and Regional Marketing to develop and strengthen the firm’s regional marketing strategies while fostering overall connectivity, professional development, and collaboration amongst the team.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions :
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department Leadership on local and regional branding and business development initiatives, collaborating with the team of regional marketing managers to deploy and effectuate the plans at local and regional levels while ensuring local efforts align with the firm’s overall strategy and goals.
- Monitor and evaluate ROI of local and regional marketing and business development plans.
- Work with regional marketing managers to develop regional marketing strategy and plan client programs and firm-sponsored events focused on the market as a whole, providing insight on how to identify areas of potential growth and development within their assigned markets.
- Help ensure clarity regarding roles and responsibilities of regional marketing staff and ensure appropriate collaboration with practice development marketers and other marketing and business development team members. Work with Executive Partners to ensure their needs are being met and there is clarity about who to engage from the team on specific initiatives.
- Assist regional marketing managers with the development and management of their respective budgets, including helping to demonstrate ROI of planned activities or making recommendations of ideas and proposals to facilitate brand development and growth in the assigned regions.
- Oversee daily operations of regional marketing staff, including managing the professional development of the team; establishing and monitoring goals and training; monitoring staff work product, ensuring that all efforts are consistent with brand standards, error-free, and current; and driving efficiencies by increasing use of firm technology and resources.
- Evaluate existing regional marketing infrastructure for improvements and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Work across all verticals within the marketing department to develop and support business opportunities at the local level.
- Advise individual lawyers and regional marketing managers on their regional marketing efforts, including demonstrating how they can show measurable impact within their local regions.
