What You'll Do
As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of speech therapy services to our students. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to students, under the guidance of an SLP.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress, including data collection and charting.
- Preparing therapy materials and equipment for use in classroom and therapy activities.
- Assisting with documentation, as directed by the SLP.
- Supporting instructional personnel in implementing IEPs.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will also contribute to departmental operations, including scheduling, record-keeping, and safety/maintenance of supplies and equipment.
