The Director - National Retailers will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with assigned National Retailers to drive revenue growth and market share. The Director - National Retailers will collaborate closely with other departments to execute effective sales strategies and ensure the success of products in retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets with key national retailers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at each retailer.
- Negotiate contracts, and terms to maximize profitability and market share.
- Collaborate with marketing, business unit leads and supply chain team to ensure effective product launches, promotions, inventory management in retail stores.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Track competitor activity and stay ahead of market trends.
- Present regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and strategies to senior management highlighting key achievements and opportunities for improvement.
- Develops a deep understanding of company's product lines and assigned retailers' businesses in order to make recommendations to drive business growth and enhance market presence.
- Designs and recommends sales programs including plan-o-grams, store tests, promotions and marketing projects.
- Provides product training to national retailers personnel to drive sales growth
