Simpson, a leading manufacturer of racing safety products, has an opening for a full-time first-shift production Assembly Technician position at its New Braunfels, Texas, location. We are looking for a team-oriented individual with strong technical/mechanical abilities and a self-starter attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assemble/repair automotive racing and/or motorcycle helmets
- Inspect helmet components before assembly to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Integrate helmets with air and/or electronic systems
- Perform other product assembly operations as required
- Cut webbing/fabric to support sewing operations
Qualifications
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions/documents
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- PC skills are a plus (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Works well in a fast paced environment
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to work extended hours and some Saturdays as required
Education:
- Minimum: High School Diploma/GED
Physical Demands
- Able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs
- Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling
