The Production Assembler at Classic Instruments is responsible for assembling components and products according to specifications and quality standards, as well as assisting with shipping and receiving duties. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to quality and safety. The assembler will collaborate with team members to meet production targets, troubleshoot minor assembly issues, and ensure products are accurately shipped or received.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble components and products using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
Inspect finished products for quality and specification compliance.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace for safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including packing, labeling, and preparing shipments.
Receive incoming materials, verify accuracy, and store items appropriately.
Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous manufacturing, assembly, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
Ability to read and follow technical documents and assembly instructions.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and inventory tracking.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and quality control processes.
Certification in safety procedures related to manufacturing environments.
Experience with forklifts, machinery operation, or electronic assembly.
Experience in shipping/receiving and inventory management.
Key Skills:
Manual dexterity and proficiency with hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lift and handle materials safely.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
