Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines mills according to blueprints and specifications.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining processes.
- Load and unload parts, ensuring accuracy and quality control throughout production.
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and maintain tight tolerances.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Work closely with programmers and engineers to improve machining processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Min 5 years of experience as a CNC Set-Up Machinist.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with Horizontal, vertical machines. Mazak and Fanuc controls. Lathe experience is a plus
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
