What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Operator - Paint Prep 1st shift position at Holley Performance?
The starting rate for this position is $16.39 per hour.
Summary of Job Duties
- Must be able to do assembly based on standardized work instructions in allotted cycle time established.
- Ability to use a pallet jack in moving product as needed.
- Must be able to reassemble components into subassemblies or finished product at any workstation at a productive pace.
- Must remain flexible and could learn and move into other positions within this business unit.
- Capable of learning to read Bill of Material listing to pull necessary component parts for assembly.
- May be required to use quality measurement tools (i.e., plug gages, depth gages, calipers, etc.).
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience
Work Experience
- Work in a manufacturing atmosphere preferred but not required.
Summary of Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- May need to lift 40-50 pounds as needed.
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a team player when working with others.
