Job Overview
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and building relationships with prospective clients over the phone and through email along with working with our outside sales team to meet sales goals and provide excellent customer service ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and achieving sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to generate leads and close sales.
- Respond to incoming inquiries and provide product information to customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns.
- Prepare reports for sales team including claims, product sales velocity, and customer contract completion rates.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Work with marketing team to produce swag items for events, harvest, and as needed.
- Help to maintain records for grant funding and reimbursement requirements.
- Support sales team on international sales, shipping, and export documentation.
- Serve as a backup for shipping coordinator to ensure customer orders are processed in a timely fashion.
- Work with sales team to maintain ecommerce site and spot list.
- Attend and prepare for industry events and conferences as needed including but not limited to CBC, Harvest etc.
- Organize sales and staff meeting agendas and distribute meeting notes after.
- Other duties as necessary.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
· Experience in a related field.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle objections and negotiate effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
