The IT Support Technician will play a pivotal role in supporting the launch of a new program with the United States Postal Service! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is dedicated to ensuring our technology runs smoothly for both customers and staff. This position will report to local management as well as the corporate IT Director and Manager.
SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW - IT Technician
Create and manage work order tickets within our corporate ticket system, collaborating to resolve issues efficiently.
Learn the ins and outs of our IT systems, serving as a key liaison between local management and the corporate IT group.
Maintain and repair essential technology such as printers, scanners, and PCs to ensure operational continuity.
Provide hands-on support for staff and customers facing hardware and software challenges via call-ins or live chat.
Keep a clean work environment that aligns with our 6S workplace organization principles.
Engage daily with production supervisors and the IT department to address ongoing needs and concerns.
Help foster a safe workplace culture for all employees.
Assist in preparing daily operations reports and other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS - IT Technician
1-3 years of prior IT experience
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, instructional, and leadership skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and computer applications
Willingness to learn and use SAP (training provided)
Must possess reliable transportation (travel between 4 sites within a 12-mile radius)
Ability to quickly perceive auditory warning signals in a warehouse environment for safety
