Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or similar field required.
-1 or more years of experience in marketing and proposal design required (AEC is preferred).
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office required.
-Graphic design and layout skills required.
-Active participation in the community and industry associations (AMA, etc.) preferred.
-You have documentation that allows you to work in the United States of America.
-You have met required background check standards.

Role Responsibilities
-A member of the Client & Community Relations pillar.
-Reports to Marketing & Business Development Director.
-Coordinates the development of customized, beautifully crafted and compelling RFP, RFQ, and SOQ responses, positioning Hollis Miller to win work by:
- Coordinating tasks and deadlines with internal teams and external consultants, including creating outlines and developing work plans to clearly communicate milestones, deadlines, and review periods.
- Collaborating with team members to execute design and layout of firm’s proposals. Storyboarding proposals and creatively presenting information to tell an engaging story and ensure RFP/RFQ requirements are met.
- Collaborating with teams to develop proposal layouts and specialty graphics with provided content, making recommendations on use of design elements to clearly articulate complex or text-heavy information.
- Assisting with content development such as resume bios, cover letters, project profiles, etc., and proofreading proposals for accuracy.
- Collaborating with Marketing and Business Development teams to strategize competitive interview approaches positioning Hollis Miller for success and creating dynamic slide deck presentations and supporting collateral.
- Assisting with the completion of technical forms with accurate information as needed for proposals.
- Collaborating with graphic designer(s) to maintain firm’s proposal and interview templates, keeping a strong aesthetic and maintaining brand consistency and voice.
- Maintaining ongoing Kit of Parts for various office locations and markets to streamline processes.
- Assisting with timeline management and response priorities when receiving multiple RFPs.
- Assisting in the maintenance of information including the project description, resumes, proposals, and qualifications for the firm’s CRM database.
- Monitoring industry trends in proposal and content development.
- Supporting the firm’s overall business development strategies.
- Assisting the team with other duties as assigned.
