We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse(New Grads Welcome) to join our team and provide care to patients from birth to age 22. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatrics, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients and families on health topics. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients.
- Perform nursing assessments, treatments, and procedures as ordered by the physician or nurse practitioner.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician or nurse practitioner.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Document patient care in accordance with office policy and procedure.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Staff our nursing triage line at least one day per week as part of a rotating team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
