Job Overview:
We seek an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our team in the manufacturing sector. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope and budget. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to drive continuous improvement and meet operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. Collaborate with stakeholders to define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Execution & Monitoring: Lead the execution of projects, managing day-to-day tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to project timelines. Implement practical project tracking tools and methodologies.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure alignment and seamless project execution. Ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial targets. Provide regular cost analysis and reporting.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects adhere to the company’s quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders. Prepare reports on project status, timelines, milestones, and challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives. Drive the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and efficiency strategies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the manufacturing industry is essential. Experience with production processes, supply chain management, and quality assurance is also essential.
