Job Title: Scrum Master/Project Manager
Location: Cottage Grove, MN (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Rate: $45 - $72.34/hour w2 dependent on skills and qualification
Duration: 6 months with potential for extension
Role Breakdown: 60% Scrum Master, 40% Project Manager
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master/Project Manager. This role is crucial for driving the success of our ongoing project, which is currently behind schedule and needs strong leadership to get back on track.
Project: Need someone who can lead the development of a centralized data storage solution to replace a device-dependent system, enabling organization-wide access to critical information previously restricted to a single iPad, improving accessibility and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the project with a focus on Scrum Master (60%) and Project Management (40%) responsibilities.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure the project is completed within the next 12 weeks.
- Implement a centralized data storage solution accessible via an iPad application.
- Motivate and influence the team without alienating them, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Remove roadblocks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure timely scheduling of tasks.
- Exhibit a leadership style that is authoritative yet collaborative, driving the team towards success without dictating.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in both Scrum Master and Project Management roles.
- Experience facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and promoting continuous improvement within the team.
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams to deliver complex initiatives on time and within scope by managing timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- CSM Certification
- Strong leadership and influence skills, with a Type A personality that drives results without being overbearing.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to stay on top of project details.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team, ensuring collaboration and productivity.
- Experience with data storage solutions and application development is a plus.
