Overview
We are seeking a UKG Systems Admin Consultant to serve as a key project team member in the enterprise rollout of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) systems. The consultant will also provide production support and break-fix services for the UKG TELESTAFF and PROWFM systems, which are critical for scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll operations.
This role involves implementing these systems across departments and supporting existing users. The consultant will act as a System Analyst / Designer Global System Administrator , and Production Support Specialist
Key Responsibilities
System Analysis & Design
- Design, test, and approve proposed UKG system changes.
- Collaborate with Finance and project teams to develop solutions addressing policy changes, union rules, process updates, and enhancement requests.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and testing to ensure system stability and compliance.
- Provide sign-off and approval for all configuration changes.
Global System Administration
Serve as the primary Global System Administrator for UKG systems.Manage system updates, including business structure, job title changes, user permissions, integrations, and SSO configurations.Collaborate with UKG support, consultants, and IT teams for technical updates.Facilitate and configure system changes in collaboration with Finance and other departments.Perform UAT testing and troubleshoot configuration issues prior to production rollouts.Production Support & Integration
Oversee integrations between UKG TELESTAFF and PROWFM, including person, payroll, and accruals integrations, as well as daily synchronization.Monitor, report, and resolve system outages and issues.Submit support requests to UKG for system copies (e.g., PROD to UAT) and handle enhancement requests.Evaluate and address impacts of UKG releases and patches.Business Analysis (Supportive Role)
Assist with assessing policy / process changes and their implications for UKG system updates.Provide guidance on system configurations to accommodate project requirements, enhancements, or compliance changes (e.g., union contracts, new employee laws).Facilitate meetings, impact assessments, and prioritization of requests with stakeholders.Mandatory Skills
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).Strong system analysis, design, and documentation expertise.Advanced collaboration and facilitation capabilities, including troubleshooting and solution design.Experience supporting UKG PROWFM and TELESTAFF in complex, union-based organizations.2–5 years of experience implementing and supporting UKG PROWFM and TELESTAFF systems.Proven expertise as a System Administrator for UKG PROWFM and TELESTAFF.Desired Skills
Experience as a JDE E1 Business / System AnalystWork Environment
Primarily weekday support during core business hours, with occasional off-peak support during nights or weekends.Hybrid schedule, requiring onsite presence twice a week (Tuesdays mandatory).
